A new day

Cedarstar walked out of her den by the highledge, streching in the morning sun, her tabby fur sleek but ruffled from sleeping. She yawned and padded slowly into the clearing where the Clans activity was busy, with patrols on there way out.

Wolfheart padded up to the leader, "Good morning Cedarstar!" he meowed in a sort of cheerfull way. When the sharp, freezing gust of wind hit him, he shivered and looked up at the sun, begging it to warm his pelt. "A bit cold today, isn't it? At least the sun's coming out!"

Blueefire peered around the corner of the warriors den. She twitched her nose taking in the scents of the camp. Breathing out she scurried out of the den.

Her blue-gray pelt shifted as she moved. It felt stringy and none to helpfull against the cold air. She glared upwards at the sky, as if challenging it to release more snow on top of her. She looked away the brightness blinding.

She pawed at the edge of the snow. She wrinkled her nose irritated, She loved snow and didn't mind the cold to much but this leaf-bare was to much.

Cedarstar turned to her deputy. "It is!" she agreed, shivering, but also enjoying the suns warmth on her pelt. " Hopefully we will see more days like this more often," she added.

Wolfheart nodded, "I hope it gets warmer!" He huffed out a breath of smoke in the cold air and shook his pelt.

Blueefire glanved over to see her leader and deputy. She flickered her tail and padded onwards.

Cedarstar dipped her head in greeting to Bluefire. She looked at her deputy. "Are there any hunting patrols heading out yet?" she asked.

Blueefire twitched her tail, she wasnt trying to eaves drop on them, But her ears perked at the thought of hunting patrol SHe glanced warily at the fresh-kill pile. Dissapointed that it was nearly empty. She sighed and looked around the camp for life and movement.

She pawed at the crusted snow. She wrinkled her nose, and glared at the sky again benfor returning her gaze around the clearing. She shivered as a small chill raced through her pelt.

"Not yet, but soon..." Wolfheart meowed. Another brisk, chilling wind hit his pelt, making it ruffle. He shivered and smoothed his fur back into place, "Well, I'm going to go organize the patrols, see you later..." He gave a flick of his tail and padded off to organize the patrols.

Blueefire wavered. She was tempted to go speak to the Thunderclan leader, but was to shy. She scurried away to go join a patrol her tail fluffed up,

Cedarstar nodded to her deputy. She looked at Blueefur, the warriors eyes were longing but she just scurried away. Cedarstar followed the young warrior slowly. She flicked her tail to the warrior to come join her. "I know you got something to say," she meowed, meeting the she-cat gaze.

Blueefire whirled around her fur sticking up. "Uhhh" she spluttered as she gazed at the leader. "I... I guess i was just gonna say, ummm, hello and stuff," she muttereed as she looked to her paws.
