Sleetshadow padded through all parts of the RiverClan camp in complete horror. His face was straight, but inside, he knew RiverClan, and all the other clans would not survive this leafbare. Unless StarClan sent them thousands of fish, voles, or any other prey, in the next moon, they would surely die. Utter depression washed over him like a wave, and he slumped down on the ground.
The white tom started to lick his chest. He rasped his tongue over his ribs in a futile attempt to down his ragged fur. Though he couldn't.. this part of starvation, and he was definitely experiencing it at the moment. [/color] |

Icesky watched Sleetshadow. Her own matted fur was ruffled and showed her ribs like gnarled twigs. Her fur was also thin as she bristled in the cold wind. She stood on her paws, shaking herself before padding over to Sleetshadow. "We'll get through this," she murmured to him softly.

He shook his head in disagreement, and sighed a raspy sigh. "StarClan has left us..." he mewed simply, as his tail tip twitched crazily. He looked at his paws, then turned his gaze upwards toward the clouds. "If they were still here..." he broke off into a violent cough, but didn't finish his sentence. [/color] |

Icesky nodded slowly. Her relationship with StarClan was undecided. She pressed against his side and meowed, "Hopefully with each other our Clan will make it through. With faith in our Clans we will make it," she added softly, as she shivering as she spoke.

Icesky didn't protest as she felt the deputy's tail lay across her back. Without hesitating she rubbed her muzzle against his, closing her blue eyes. Her heart felt warm, as his pelt touched hers, as if leafbare was no longer and it was the cool breeze of greenleaf.
