Badgerstar leaped in, his tail puffed up to twice its original size. His haunted dark green eyes were flaming with defiance and fear. He unsheathed his claws and silently crept on the edge of the trees looking into the sky for any signs of the one he was running from...
He couldn't see anything no matter where his eyes landed there was not a sound nor sight. The aging leader sighed wearily and placed his white paw on the rough bark of a tree, frowning. Then there was an Owl like screech and he stumbled backwards, almost falling into the river.
Owlstar was perched high in the branches of a dense tree, his single green eye was ablaze with anger and distrust. His hooked claws dug into into the bark and he nimbly jumped from branch to branch until his son could see him clearly. He snarled, "Sending away your own cats? Having them fend for themselves!"
