A scrawny brown tabby tom slunk under the tree's cover. Moving through the shadows, his peircing green eyes like neon lights in the darkness. A low hiss escaped his muzzle as he watched his surrondings change.
An arrogant robin fluffed up it's feathers in a pathetic attempt to appear larger. Ember stopped. A snarl slowly started from him, growing louder and larger. Beady eyes wached with with a lack of fear.
Ember let out a furious growl. I will be feared by all! Including my prey! he bolted from the shadows, his pacing faltering slightly as the moonlight hit his fur.
The bird jumped back, his tiny feet sinking into the soft turf. Ember darted towards him, his claws unsheathed as he felt the rage building.
A startled squak escaped the robin's beak. He flapped his wings in a desprate attempt to get his body off the ground before the life was ripped from him.
Pushing off his hind legs he leaped up into the air. His already blood stained paw lashed out, his claws sinking into the bird's wing. He gracefuly landed on his paws while the bird was slapped onto the ground.

As close to deathly thin as possible, a short an unhealthily slender she-cat stalked out from the desolate shadows. Her shimmering eyes could stalk straight into an unaware victim's soul, and read their innermost secrets with much ease. The cat's glittering claws stained with pink remnants of past deaths she had caused emerged from her dried blood-caked paws. The petite she-cat swiveled her head, and glared forward at her brother. She scoffed in an irritated tone, but actually was very impressed with his catch, even if he did waste all his energy on a less-than-deserving robin. Her tail waved in greeting, and she padded up to Ember with a concrete scowl glued to her seemingly adorable face. "So.. we're away from the clans now, right...? Where to head next?" she growled, arching her back, then sheathing and un-sheathing her deadly claws.

Ember glanced at his sister. No hint of surprise or disgust appeard in him. He nodded to her than at the robin, "Eat." He glanced ahead, his eyes shimmering with hate. "You'd think we'd be able to find prey easier once we were away from those greedy cats. They sit there and stuff their mouths," He scoffed.
He wrinkled his nose at the dead robin. "You should eat it," he suggested, careful not to order anything of his lovely sister. He smiled at her weakly, "I'd rather some nutrious kits as much as your probaly would but well that isn't very possible." He twitched the tip of his tail, wondering himself how he knew this stuff.
"I have a feeling that where we are traveling we will be lucky to eat a bug each day," He grunted and glanced at her again.

She flicked her bony tail, and grunted apathetically to the poor rations. "Hunger pains recede after a few days," she mumbled softly, glancing at the surprisingly dull morsel of robin. "I can't even find the least bit muse to eat that bland junk," she jutted her paw out at the meat, then shuffled away. Her dreary eyes scanned the ground in front of her, and she sighed very very quietly. "Ember.." she started in a docile tone, "this is the biggest decision of our life... and I'm wondering if... you.. and... I are ready for this torment." She turned just her head toward her brother, and stared into his eyes. "Are we?"

Ember stepped closer to her, but kept their pelts from touching. He sighed and bent his head, "I-I don't know." His eyes darkened, "There are three choices. We go on. We go to Shrewstar. Or we go to to Thunderclan with a sad sob story," He snorted and scraped his claws against the hard ground. "None are appealing to me but I will follow you anywhere you go." He flattened his ears in embarrassment. "Your the only one that truly cares that I am alive,"
