Sapphire glanced through the light underbrush she noticed to the left and right of her body. She blinked in disorientation, and began to mumble dizzily. Fatigue had put her to sleep outside the popular warrior cat's greeting place, get a mate. She blinked, and shakily stepped through a bush, then stumbled towards a tree to put her un-balanced weight on.
The ginger tabby slunk through the dense undergrowth with a hard expression on his plump face. His whiskers twitched for a moment, before he pressed on through the trees. He growled as thorn snagged on his thick pelt. His amber eyes searched through a gap in the trees. He spied with his little eye a pretty little she-cat, a tad skinny but she would do.
She flicked her blue gray tail, and sighed quietly. With her defense completely turned off, and almost fell towards a different tree in an attempt to shake off her dizziness. With no success, she decided to sit there for a while and let is wear off. Her eyes scanned the clearing again before closing, and waiting for the aching pain in her cranium to cease.
The young she-cat had the strange feeling of eyes digging under her pelt, but she brushed it off, for worrying would just confuse and daze her even more.
The tom cat's mouth curled into a wolfish smile. His prey was just laying there about with not a care in he world. He licked his lips, beginning to drool slightly. A slimy glop of saliva slid out of the corner of his mouth. It dropped to the ground with lazy speed. The perverted ginger tabby slid through the undergrowth, his hot breath wheezing through his nose.
Sapphire gritted her teeth, and turned her head lazily to stare at the sound of slight rustling in the bushes. She could barely see a blur of orange fur sliding through the brambles. She blinked, and bared her pearly teeth, but almost crashed to the floor with the force of using her last drop of strength. She un-sheathed her claws, but didn't move much after that, besides the slight bewildered swaying of her head.
The tom cat's smile grew. His sickening amber eyes gleamed with the pleasure to come. It would come in moment, he knew who this very cat was. Her face was familiar even though it was more gaunt and shallow now. This was Blueefire's kit. He had already tried for her, but to no avail due to her bloody mate. But this would be an easy catch. The well-fed tom cat was salivating with increasing speed, smearing on the side of his face. His wide paws made no sound on the ground. He came up next to the swaying she-cat. He placed a paw on her shoulder. "Hello, Sweetheart." He purred.
She growled, and bared her pearly teeth again, darting for his paw on hers. She missed, and felt her paws give out under her, causing the young she-cat to topple onto wetwhisker in a flurry of teeth and claws. Once she was steady on him, she moaned in disgust, but made no attemtp to move. In her weakening state, and attemtp would be futile.
The tom cat snarled at his good luck. A lust filled purr was growing ever larger in his throat. This was it. The big time, what he had always searched and wanted. He had been chasing the she-cats for moons and now it was time. He lowered his head to her ear, his whiskers brushed his face. "Don't worry, my dear." He purred thickly with a hard thirst for her. "I'll do all the work." The ginger tabby snatched her scruff and began dragging her into a dark corner.
